Newsletter June 2016

Our lead missionary, German Rozo, and his daughter, Gwendy, will be in Canada June 13 to July 4 to meet with supporters. If you would like to get together with them, let us know, or join us at one of the scheduled events, which are:

  • Tuesday, June 14, 7:00 p.m. at Bill and Gail Deacon’s regular Tuesday evening prayer meeting in their home in Ottawa.
  • Wednesday, June 15, at 2:00 pm at Asher Place, 490 Viewmount Drive, Ottawa. This will be a meet and greet, with German making a presentation. It will be in the  meeting room. There is parking out back. This is the apartment building where I live in the summers, and we expect a good turnout. Sandwiches and cold drinks will be served.
  • In London, Ontario, Tuesday, June 28 The Rozos are Coming! By Rev. Stan Crookall including when they are in a restaurant. She closes her eyes, bows her head, and prays in a clear voice, often getting the attention of those nearby. She is a great witness. I marvel that one so young can know God and seek Him with her whole heart.
In the early 1950s, when Gwen and I worked with the Rural Life Mission in northern Canada we taught the weekly religious education period in several one room schools. Things were so primitive, some lacked electricity, and many had outdoor plumbing. But when we drove into the schoolyard in our old 1939 Plymouth, they showed their joy and excitement about studying God’s Word. Ministering to children has been central to what we do. The most important part of what we do is spiritual, and without prayer, nothing works. We so appreciate those of you who give, and those of you who stand with us in prayer.
  • In the Oshawa and Peterborough areas, June 20 to 24, events are being arranged For more details as they develop, to meet the Rozos, or to join one of our group meetings, please call me at 1.613.680.9153, or my son Paul at 1.613.565.7117 (email
